Masturbation?away from my wife?

i am 34,i worked in kuwait,i cant control myself to do masturbation,because for me it is safer than to with another woman here.Is this senseless habit at my age?.perhaps its against the church but no choice we are just human being.And add ques?, is'nt true? that it will affect also for the health of doing this in consecutive habit but only twice /month?
