How do you treat a burn that starts bleeding?

I burned my ear with a curling iron. It blistered immediately and has been that way for a couple of days. Today it started bleeding and keeps bleeding some. Is that normal in the healing process? I've been putting iodine on it and I just now but a bandage on it.
