Can liberation be achieved through worship of the Goddess Kali?

According to what I think everysingle one of us has a flow of both negative and positive karma.The positive flows from our virtues and the negative flows from our vices.Kali changes us and works intensely to cut off our flow of negative karma so that we can become virtuous and eventually be freed from the cycle of rebirth...But can worship of Kali liberate souls?
