I was cooking stew on my stove and it made a pop. I need help!!!?

I was cooking stew on my stove top, i went in the other room for a bit and it started boiling and overflowed i guess, it made a loud "pop" and now the burners wont turn on, the clock is off and the oven wont turn on either. My husband is pissed cause everything i touch breaks. i need to fix it. i feel like a worthless piece of ****. please tell me whats wrong with my stove and can i fix it? if so, how?
