Converting white flour to whole-wheat flour in recipes.?

I would make it 1 1/2 c whole wheat or look at it as 2 (1 c) formulas but I'd leave out the 2 tablespoons. Most recipes tell you to convert half of the flour to whole wheat because it will leave the product like cardboard. Up to you.
