I wanna be a pilot.flying lessons is just TOO EXPENSIVE. how can i pay for lessons? not military...?

i want to be a pilot. but this is on hold. after my 1st sem in college, i think i can take the cles but the flying just wont do it. yeah i know that i need a 4 yr degree (better) then get certification and all that. but i dont know how to get flying lessons? heard its expensive, and i have checked myself. plus, i dont want to cut off on training and jsut get the bare minimum bec. its expensive.
