Can I get sacked for an alleged ault that happened outside of work?

The person making the allegations against me has facial injuries, there are no witnesses that saw me hit him, there are witnesses that say he aulted me. There are discrepancies in the six witness statements, some say we were on the floor but that it, some say we were not, and likewise that is what I have said
